Ciel: 7 months

She turns 7 months today and we cannot believe how fast time has flown.  How can someone so tiny, and whom you have only met for 7 months +  felt for 9 months (in the belly) make you fall in love with so intensely that you cannot bear thinking life without? (Yeah, that was a mouthful long sentence. Heh.)

Even when she screams and cry because you are too slow at feeding her, she's still so adorable.  Yes, Ciel's passion is food.  Nothing makes her cry so tragically with the exception of pain than food.  We started her on solids at 6 months.  We sneak some when she was 4 but figured we would wait.  It was hard for us, and moreso for her because she is convinced she is ready to move on to "real" food from all the fits she threw every time we wouldn't give her any of ours.

She's got no teeth yet but that's okay.  We will enjoy her toothless grin for a while longer.

She has been contently happy sitting on her own since 5 months old but is barely just starting to get a little more daring to be on her hands and knees.. which mean crawling might begin soon.  Between trying to crawl and being guided to walk, she still much prefer the latter.  She is one anxious adult trapped in a baby body sometimes.

Here are some photos of her at 4 months that I took a while back for a post that never got published! Haha! Enjoy. :)

At 4 months, her hair is still short.  Now, it's crazy and getting into her eyes, it's funny.  She can pull off the emo look now.
LOVE this baby!

  1. Hi, my busy days have not allowed me to keep up with the fast growing Ciel and looks like her hair is keeping up pretty well, She is beautiful and I know she will be blessed by all she will learn from her talented mother. Gotta do the passport thing now as I cross back to Singapore. Take care
